Get Rid of Bats in the Attic in Olathe
Companies that offer to remove bats in the attic in Olathe are not all the same. The process is simple:
- Inspection
- Get the Bats Out of the Attic
- Keep Them Out
But, most companies don’t even get Step One right!
Are you concerned you might have a bat in your house or attic?
Or do you know for a fact you have bats in your home.
Either way, you have good reason to be looking for solutions. If you know there are bats in your attic you need to know they will not go away. At some point in time they could find their way into your home.
You don’t want a bat to get into your living area. Here’s why:
- Bats carry diseases
- Bats can bite and have very sharp teeth
- Bats can be carriers of rabies, so it’s very important to avoid being bitten
It’s not just the bats, but their waste (know as bat guano) that can cause health problems.
By doing nothing you’re risking the health of you and your family.
Don’t forget the creep factor. Bats make people feel weird. Knowing those little animals are living just above your ceiling can be too much for some to handle.
That’s why you should take action at the first sign of bat activity in your home or attic.
We are a locally owned company that provides expert bat control in Olathe and surrounding communities.
We get rid of bats from attics, gable vents and other structures. Our process has three steps.
Olathe Bat Inspection – Step One
This is the most important part of the bat control process. We will do an extensive inspection of your home to determine every possible way bats can get into and out of your home. Because of the time it takes to do the inspection properly, we do not offer free inspections.
Olathe Bat Removal – Step Two
As simple as it sounds, bat removal is…
Removing the bats!
We will install bat control devices over the entry/exit points. By nature bats will leave your house at dusk. They will be able to get out, but they won’t be able to get back in.
Olathe Bat Removal – Step Three
The third step of our bat removal process is prevention. We will return in a few days to remove the bat control devices from your home. Then, we will tightly seal any entry point to prevent any bats re-entering your home.
It is important to note that the length of time it takes to remove the bats will vary. During periods in the summer, bats are very active and it might only take a day or so. In the winter, with colder weather, bats will slow down almost to the point of hibernating. Since there aren’t any bugs flying around, there isn’t a reason to leave the building plus it is just too cold out.
Important Note:
We are not Olathe bat exterminators. We don’t use poisons to kill the bats in your home. That could create another unpleasant problem for you of having dead bats decaying in your attic. Our bat removal and bat prevention service will get rid of bats in a safe and humane way and keep them from returning.
Because every situation is unique our pricing is not set as a one price fits all. We will come out and evaluate the bat infestation and provide a reasonable price to take care of it.
